The Mystic Krewe of Aziza is New Orleans' premiere Black Fairy Social & Walking Krewe!

Based on West (Dahomey) African Mythology, Aziza are tiny humans with wings that are remenant of butterfly wings. Aziza are the super natural fairies that live in the forest of West Africa. They are tiny helpful fae that aid travelers who pass through their domains and provide food, magic and protection for hunters.

Aziza are the keepers of wisdoms and practical survival and spiritual knowledge. They teach the use of fire and hunting techniques.   

 

Aziza are said to glow, they are elusive, magical and a sight to see and experience! They are benevolent in spirit and always looking to help those in need.
